An operating system is a software component of a computer system. This software is responsible for managing and coordinating computer activities and sharing computer resources. This system serves as the host for the application program running on the computer. As a host, controlling the details of computer hardware is one of the purposes of this system, so that the application program does not have to control these details and the application is easy to compose. Nearly all computers, including laptops, Burmese counters, supercomputers, and even modern video game consoles, use some form of operating system.

Operating system history

IBM released a series of stopwatch after two blockchain operating systems.

OS / 360 for average range and large systems. It was available in three system generation options:

• Without the resources for PCP and multi-burgling for beginner users.

MFT for MFT-II switching mid-range system in SM / 360 release 15/16. It had a successor, OS / VS1, which was discontinued in the 1980's.

• MVT for large systems. It was similar to most PCP and MFT modes (most programs can be portable in all three without having to rearrange them), but it has more advanced memory management and time sharing features. , TSO. MMT had several successors, including the current Z / OS.

There were several successors to the current system / 360 model, including DOS / 360 current Z / VSE. It was more prominent than OS / 360.

• IBM has maintained full compatibility with the past, so that holiday programs are still available for Z / VSE (if designed for DOS / 360) or Z / OS (if designed for MFT or MVT). So there can be no change.

IBM also developed the TSS / 360, a time-sharing system for the System / 360 Model 67. Once he relied heavily on the importance of developing the Harrier system, he employed hundreds of developers on the project. They ended up with a shiny, buggy project that crashed into the boot as long as it did, and ended the project without releasing it.

Several operating systems for the IBMS / 360 and S / 370 architectures were developed by third parties, including the Michigan Terminal System (MTS) and Music / SP.
