From its inception, 2021 has been a great year, one that carries many memories. Being a January born, 2021 started great with my birthday 3 weeks into it. On the 15th day of January which was my birthday, I had one of the best fun times as I was opportune to celebrate it at school for the first time. Because of the work this involves, I had to help my sister bake a lot of cupcakes so it could go around everyone. Packaging the gifts was stressful but I loved the satisfaction I got from sharing that special moment with my friends and teachers at school.
Early this year, I was in my second term in the senior secondary class 2 and at that time we had started the state mock examination which is a prerequisite for the final year examinations (WAEC/NECO). When the result came out, I was so excited as I had passed this external examination set by the state examination board. By April, I was promoted to senior secondary 3, the last phase of my secondary school education. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the normal school calendar was affected and by June, I had started my examinations to get one of the basic certificates out of two. It is an examination organized by the National Examination Council (NECO). Due to the pandemic, I took my NECO examination before my WAEC examination. By July end, I sat for my second certificate examination organised by the West African Examination Council (WAEC). It is an Examination that is sat for in West African countries that have registered with the council. On October 8, 2021, I graduated from secondary school.
My main focus from January to October has been on my examination as it is one of the most important certificates that is recognized all over the world. In December, I started learning the skill of photo editing and yesterday, I not only handled a camera for the first time but I also took as many shots as possible, it has always been my dream. And I was overly excited as they all came out well. Below is one of the shots taken and edited by me.
2021 has been an amazing year.
