Machines is an apparatus which has moving parts invented to perform a particular task. Machines are invented to solve basically a bulk of man's problem. Today very few work is done manually. We have different machines available for different activities and work. These include; Computer, Television, Motorcycle, Blender etc.

TYPES OF MACHINES

• Mechanical Machines :

These are machines that are operated mechanically. There is the application of human effort or power for these machines to work. They require little energy to be expended for proper function. Examples may include, bicycles, grinder trucks.

• Electrical machines :

These are machines driven by electric current. The current could be direct current or alternating current. Basically electricity is a prerequisite for a proper function of an electrical machine. Examples may include; air conditioner, fridge, blender, washing machine.

• Electromechanical machines :

This is basically self explanatory. These are machines which needs the application of electrical and mechanical constraints or pressure to operate perfectly. Examples include automobiles, motorcycle, pressing iron.
