Assalamualaikum siz members i hope you all are well and fine today i am telling about some tests for purification of water at home..
This is very simple as well as difficult to check purification of water at home.
1st check the TDS(total disolve solid) with the help of TDS meter this meter also tell the temperature of water. To check the TDS level of water clean and wash the electrode of TDS meter and dip in the sample of water and stay it for 30 second to 1 min.
Note the reading TDS meter tells correct reading and temperature of water.
To wash electrode of TDS meter use de ionized water only and then On the meter and first tare the readings and then dip in sample.
2nd check hardness of water take sample in beaker and drop hardness buffer and ebt color this is the way to check hardness of water.
To check hardness take 10ml sample in beaker then add 10ml deionized water then add ebt color its color change into red wine. Then titration with EDTA.
For count total hardness put the readings in formula this is the totall hardness of water after EDTA its color will change light pink or black shade
This is the process to check hardness of water.
In water present calcium or by carbonate compounds makes the water hard permanent or temporary this is test for to check both of types of hardness
In these day we are used digital TDS meter which tells EC temperature TDS and pH also
Its tell us correct reading mean water pH is acidic or basic or neutral and also tells temperature and TDS.
Next we test of microbes in this test we use Chlorine tablets in water by this method all types of microbes killed.
We also used rays to clear infected water.
