WHAT GREEN TEA IS
A natural tea made from Camellia sinensis leaves and buds that have not gone through the same withering and oxidation process used in making oolong teas and black teas is known as green tea. Coming to know what green tea is will input in our minds the desire to know the origin of green tea,let us now get to know the origin of green tea.
ORIGIN OF GREEN TEA
Green tea drinking and production began in China,the production and manufacture of green tea later spread to other countries in East Asia,then global. But what are the possible nutritional contents of green tea?,let us get to know.
NUTRITIONAL CONTENTS OF GREEN TEA
The possible nutritional Contents of green tea are:
(I) CATECHINS:Catechin is a type of polyphenol and is the main astringency component in green tea, long known as tannins. We will later get to see the benefits of catechins
(II) CAFFEINE: Caffeine in green tea makes the consumer to feel refresh.
(III)AMINO ACID (THEANINE): This acid presents sweetness and flavor in green tea.
(IV)VITAMIN B2: Vitamin B2 is pertinent for the regular development.
(V) VITAMIN C: Vitamin C is a very essential vitamin,it helps in production of callogen
(VI)FOLIC ACID: folic acid plays a vital role in the formation of red blood cell
(VII)BETA CAROTENE
(VIII) VITAMIN E: Vitamin E is an antioxidant that prevents lipids in the body from oxidizing.
OTHER NUTRITIONAL CONTENTS: Saponins,fluorine, minerals like potassium and calcium,and chlorophyll.
Getting to know the benefits of green tea will help us consider drinking green tea. We want to now take a look at the benefits of drinking green tea.
BENEFITS OF CONSUMING GREEN TEA
Drinking green tea can be of great benefits,I want to share with you my fellow steemians some of the benefits of drinking green tea. Some of these benefits of moderate drinking of green tea are indicated below:
(I) REDUCTION OF INFLAMMATION: Green tea contains polyphenols,and polyphenols help in riducing inflammation and fighting cancer.
(II) PREVENTION OF CELLS DAMAGE: Green tea contains catechin,and Catechins are natural antioxidants that help prevent cell damage.
(III) HELPS THE BRAIN TO FUNCTION: Green tea contains caffeine,and Caffeine affects the brain by blocking an inhibitory neurotransmitter called adenosine. With this,it increases the firing of neurons and the concentration of neurotransmitters like dopamine and norepinephrine.
(IV)BURNING OF FAT:Green tea may boost metabolic rate and increase fat burning in the short term.
(V) KEEPS THE HEART HEALTHY:Green tea also increases the antioxidant capacity of the blood, which protects the LDL particles from oxidation, which is one part of the pathway toward heart diseases.
(VI) CHOLESTEROL REDUCTION: Drinking of green tea could possibly lower cholesterol.

CONCLUSION
In my conclusion,Green tea has a range of possible health benefits.
A consumer of green tea feels good and loses weight after drinking green tea. Green tea reduces the tendency of suffering from chronic illnesses. I must believe my fellow steemians would consider drinking green tea and receive the aforementioned benefits.
