Hello great Steemians, I trust we all are doing great. It weekend and it's always a time when we cheer ourselves up, travels, go out to visit friends and so on.

Today I will be sharing with you the local way on how cassava is processed to garri.

Cassava as we all know is used in making garri and fufu but I discovered that many people just go to the hotel or bar to eat fufu but don't even know how the ebba is been proceed.

On Friday being 11th of february 2022, I decided to visit a friend in Unwana village of Afikpo local government of Ebonyi State. I arrived very late at night due to our motor Tyre had issue on our way.

As soon as the Tyre were okey, every body entered the vehicle while the driver zoom off. I arrived very late and I was very tired.

Morning

This morning my neghbous where processing cassava to make garri so I decided to join them in in the process.this is a native way garri was processed in ancient time. The cassava was havested and brought home for peeling.

After finishing peeling the cassava, we had to wash it before the traditional native way to pressed it was carried out and this process took days before the garri was fried.

Conclusion

This was the first time I saw with my eyes how garri was processed in a native way, and this garri was solid

This garri is the best compared to the normal once they are doing now!
