Greetings everyone, special thanks to @siz-official community for organizing this wonderful contest, I am indeed happy to share about how technology has impacted my life.
Technology has indeed been helpful, it's impacts cannot be over emphasized or even denied by anyone, the types are numerous and effects can be felt in every area of our lives . I came to really recognize and appreciate the impact and importance of technology some years back after what seemed like a dream was made real through the help of a technological device. Technology has really made so much impact in different areas of my life . I will be sharing a story about the impact of one of the types of technology(communication technology) in my life, it's a story I can't forget, it will definitely amaze you.
SourceAfter so many years of childlessness, my aunt finally gave birth to a Son and he became her only child, she adored him, his name is John. He was loved by all and I was particularly fond of him. One fateful day, My aunt called me to come stay with him because she was embarking on a trip with her husband and needed someone to look after John. John was about 7 years old then, I really liked him so I was always happy to come and look after him.

We played together and really had a nice time, He said he wanted to swim and he would like me to teach him, I agreed but I told him he needed to do his homework first. We went outside, sat just by the pool and started doing the homework. I taught him how to answer the questions, then left him to finish the work while I went back into the house to get my phone. when I took my phone, I saw an attractive post online and decided to look at it briefly, while I was reading the post , I remembered that I had left John outside and he should be through with the home works so I rushed to attend to him. As I went outside,hoping to find John studying, I saw that John had jumped into the pool and had even drowned.

Fear gripped me, I immediate jumped into the pool and pulled him out, I was scared and was shaking, I didn't know what to do. I had screamed and cried for help but none was forth coming, we were all alone and there was nobody to help, I started crying, I thought he had died. Immediately I heard my phone beep and I realise it could be of help, I managed to call our family doctor who happens to be my friend, I couldn't even explain properly because I was in shock, I managed to tell him what had happened.

He calmed me down, I put the phone on loud speaker, he then told me to check if the child was breathing and check the child's pulse, I did all that and found that he wasn't breathing, he immediately told me to carry out a CPR(cardiopulmonary resuscitation) while we await the ambulance.

I hadn't done the CPR before and didn't know how, but unbelievably with this amazing technological device (telephone),He guided me through the process and as I was pushing hard on the childs chest like he told me to,the child sprung back to life, coughing and vomiting water. It was miraculous, I was overwhelmingly joyful, I came to appreciate technology, it changed my life.

I did'nt just know what would have happened to the child and myself if the phone wasn't there or if such technology didn't exist. Technology saved the child , it saved our lives. this is one spectacular way I have felt the impact or technology.
