Artificial intelligence can now help detect heart attacks. Have you heard this before? Let’s unveil this amazing information.

Corti's Heart Attack Detection Tool

There's a fascinating company known as “corti” in Denmark. They developed a tool that can listen to emergency calls. So this is an artificial intelligence tool that uses natural language processing.

How does it function?

It has the same capabilities as your Alexa. Still, the algorithm that they have developed is helping them understand whether someone ringing in about someone else or someone ringing about themselves in an emergency is having a heart attack.

It is listening to those calls for keywords and key symptoms and even the emotional stage of their conversations. And what they found is that these artificial intelligence tools are better able to detect and earlier able to detect that this might be a heart attack.

As you can imagine, if someone has a heart attack, dispatching an ambulance if a few seconds or minutes earlier can sometimes make the difference between life and death. And this is a great example being rolled out in Denmark across the entire emergency service.
