Siz Contest | My best Childhood Memories

During my childhood, i played lots of tennis courtesy of my late Dad who was Uganda's tennis champion. Since he was also a tennis coach, he taught us (me and my Sister) the game of tennis. I became good at it whereby i participated in lots of junior tennis tournaments in and out of Uganda. I became second in Uganda's junior tennis rankings. Represented Uganda in plenty of East African Tennis tournaments.

I participated in the major tournament organized by the International Tennis Federation (ITF). The tournament was scheduled in Darel-salem, the former capital of Tanzania 🇹🇿. It lasted for 2 weeks. I remember we went as a Ugandan team of 8 junior tennis players. Though i did not perform well in that tournament, i had some great moments and experience while in Darel-salem. We stayed in a very posh hotel called Bahai beach hotel. A very unique hotel with great accommodation. The rooms were uniquely designed. They were like grass thatched houses but these particular ones had glass at the back view where you could clearly view the beach during the day.

In my primary, we had a tour to the zoo in Entebbe and i was able to see so many wild creatures including lions, zebras, hyena, elephants, giraffes, etc. It was my first time at the zoo and i really liked that moment. Its something exciting and unforgettable. Though i did not take any pictures while there since i was still young having no gadgets like a camera or smart phone to use in taking some memorable pictures for that trip to the zoo.

There is also a time i went to Didiz world at Kansanga. This place had lots of swings and circus. I liked the bamber cars. We used to go to that place during festive seasons like Christmas, Easter. I liked driving the bamber cars while knocking others 😁. They were so fun.
