No bites this time!
This is the full, unedited video. This Cottonmouth (Water Moccasin) was seen in an area very close to where many people and children frequently venture. It was decided that I should try to relocate it. (Thankfully people are learning not to immediately try to kill them.) When I showed up later that night, the snake had moved, but was still in the general area. I was able to test out my new Midwest Tongs, and they worked excellent. Immediately upon grabbing the snake with the tongs it was biting and dripping venom. Thankfully, it worked out better than last time, when one bit me. I was able to safely capture and bag the snake, and relocate it to a safer area for not only the people, but also the snake.
Also, please REMEMBER - most people are bitten when trying to kill or catch snakes. Don't do this at home.
