Let's take a closer look...

Yesterday was a day for the record books, at least the personal record book, since I caught my personal best for gar, and the most gar that I ever caught in one day. The big one was seven pounds, and 44.5 inches (almost 4 feet) long. That not only makes it the longest gar I've ever caught, but the longest fish! How cool is that. Obviously this will be a lot of food for our family, and before I cleaned them I showed them off to the family, since I caught them on the way home from work and none of my family members were with me then. It made them happy, and they were impressed for sure! Enjoy the photos.
