I've been in medication for my supposed Tuberculosis fir more than four months now. The whole course of taking the medication (Isoniazid-Rifampicin) is six months so I am in my final stage of taking that medication.
Since the days goes by so fast it will not be long until I am done with that drug. But one thing that happened is that I do not get that gurgling sound in my lungs anymore.
Maybe that was the telltale sign of my Tuberculosis which is having fluids in my lungs all the time especially if I am near my session day because the gurgling sound in my lungs gets worse.
Now it seems that it had improved because I do not get the "rales" as they call it. For years that has been my problem and thankfully I was able to adjust my dry weight down in that crucial point after my weight crashed down following my bone changes because I was already coughing at that point.
I really know what to do which is to request from my head nurse to lower down my weight by adjusting how much fluids that the dialysis machine have to take off from my body. The head nurse in that instance granted me my request and my weight got adjusted which caused me to get some easement in my breathing.
But still the cycle of gurgling sound in my lungs never went away until now that I took that antituberculosis medication. I am still not sure if I do have the condition because I am not showing signs of having a TB like a low grade fever at night or coughing.
The only factor that I do have the condition was my weakness and my emaciated body which I seem not to ever solve particularly now that I have a poor appetite due to my Cinacalcet therapy which really causes nausea.
That is why I am spacing my eating to almost eating once a day only so that I cam build the urge to eat especially if I like the food.
But anyway it seems that I do have a TB even though there are symptoms that are absent but with the gurgling sound in my lungs gone it might be possible that I do have that kind of illness and that I am half-way cured already.
Maybe the Pandemic is God's simple way that I had that X-ray which lead me to get a medical therapy for my lungs that now had improved my breathing. That is something that really makes me happy and thankful to God.
