About five years back, I got an email from Amazon, stating that they were starting something called "Amazon Handmade," with an eye towards getting into the art and fine crafts market.
Curious and always looking for new avenues to sell my work, I went ahead and made a seller account. After a while — the listing "learning curve" was a bit steep — I created a small number of listings, pretty much as an experiment.
Then I more or less "forgot about it," except for the occasional notification that — somewhat to my surprise — an item had actually sold.
In retrospect, the experiment was actually somewhat successful, given how few items I put for sale, and the number I ended up selling.
Painted stones — however pretty they might be — are not an easy sell, at the best of times.
After the absolute absence of art sales during the past 18 Covid-dominated months, I have recently put some effort into updating and expanding my Amazon Handmade Listings.
Now I am just cautiously hopeful that a few sales might happen!
Thanks for stopping by and having a look!
Thank you for supporting independent art!
Because I am trying to make some semblance of income — a living, even — I now add this footer to all my posts, in the hope that someone, somewhere, might decide to take a further look at my work, and perhaps consider supporting independent art.
My Alchemy Stones Patreon appeal, as little as US $1.00 makes a difference!

Of course, your upvote is also greatly appreciated, and it doesn't COST you anything!
I know this is an old post and my vote for it is a waste, but I enjoyed it and as someone who just quit their job over two decades to become a full-time artist after having been delayed because of covid, I understand and I'm interested in your journey. Never stop trying!
