This is the painting that I prepared for my video-lesson for my friends’ kids, and for my nieces and nephews, so that they can do art staying at home.

The materials I used:

watercolors
watercolor paper
pencil
kneaded eraser

The colors I used:

blue
turquoise
black

Let’s start

Step 1. I made a pencil sketch. First the seahorse’s body, then I added spikes and the fin (or is it a wing?).

Step 2. I Started painting its tummy, moving towards its back and tail. Please note the color change from turquoise to blue.

Step 3. Then, I proceeded to do its head, mostly with blue and a little touch of turquoise on its cheek.
