15-MINUTE ARTWORK: A FINE TOUCH OF SUMMER | PAINT WITH ME!

Are you ready for summer yet this pandemic is giving us limits in going out and everything. To feel the summer vibes we had before, let me give you a feel of our past summer vacation with my Watermelon Painting Tutorial using water color.

NEEDED MATERIALS:

•Watercolor paper or any paper with good quality and thick
•Watercolor
•Paintbrush with fine tip

SLICE OF WATERMELON STEP-BY-STEP PROCESS:

Step 1: Outline of watermelon side shape. Use a lighter red for it.

Then, just continue to paint the object.

Step 2: Paint the slice of watermelon with pinkand a little red withWet on wet tecnique for it to look like splotchy.

Step 3: Make an outline of watermelon's rind using dark green watercolor.

Step 4: Paint the rind with green and load your brush with a lighter green then soak your brush to water and slightly mix it to have the desired shade of green.

Step 5: Paint the watermelon seeds. Dab a few spots on slice of watermelon to fulfill your craveness for the next summer.

This watercolor tutorial is just so quick and easy! You can also make citrus fruits withbthe techniques used here. I hope it inspires you to create your own impressive artwork. :)
