My Watercolor Painting of a Sunset View (2).

It's been really a day with little hope today until I was able to utilize my paints and brushes. Spent so much time today waiting for power supply because I needed to get my mobile charged so I could start my painting, but thank God, the power supply came, and here below is the wonderful painting today birthed!

Today, I decided to try out the wet on wet watercolor painting technique, and unfortunately, the watercolor pad I've got now also is just quite good for the wet on dry technique. I faced some certain problems trying to observe the wet on wet technique while making this painting but I was able to pull through, and I achieved the colourful and beautiful piece you can see above.

Outlines....

Firstly, I prepared my paints, mixed all before starting my painting, then I was hoping to have a wet on wet painting but that changed on the long run.

I started the painting from the lightest and brightness spot from my reference picture, and that way, I can easily control my painting till the end.

I furthered my adventure my painting the upper parts of the sky with some lighter values of dying blue, I had so much water in my painting, hoping to have the painting quite transparent.

I painted the light form of the sea and also increased the tones and values in the sky with some cloudy effects.

I added the mid tones and the darkest tones and values on the sea, and I also implemented some details quite close to the Sun itself.

So, I decided to input a tree very close to my foreground, which makes it quite vivid that the tree comes first to sight before the sea, and I also added some darker values to my foreground too.

I finished up the painting of the trees and also added some details to the entire painting.

And this comes with the final touches and my signature!
