Pursuant to the previous post, which wonders about does the happiness of others diminish our happiness, most of the comments come and say that this is a human nature to compete with others and we would like to obtain some of the happiness obtained by others, it is normal for comparisons to occur.
But is it really true?
Is it our human nature to compare ourselves to others? Or is it portrayed to us, the illusion of comparisons, because of what we got used to when we were young, from the comparisons that the parents made us participate in, or the competitions that are held to test the best, smartest and most beautiful, there is no doubt that these competitions produce the best in these areas, but originally no one told us that this does not detract from From us! It does not detract from us being ordinary and not geniuses in any field!
With whom, then, should we compare ourselves?
As for myself, I think we should compare ourselves to ourselves, the only person you have to reconcile with today is yourself yesterday! The only person who should be facing your eyes as you progress is his daughter-in-law yesterday! You are the only one who knows what your strengths and weaknesses are!
