At the end of last year, the practical aspect was neglected in schools and universities due to the pandemic conditions that the world passed through, and the handling of this matter was different from one institution to another.

Some institutions neglected the whole thing as if it had never been.

Some of them tried to provide what they could remotely, whether by relying on videos recorded in laboratories or some other video from the Internet.

Some of them tried to explain the laboratory experiments quickly at the beginning of this year.

First of all, I think we will agree that the role of laboratories in most schools and universities (especially government), was not really effective for many reasons, such as the lack of financial and sometimes practical capabilities of teachers and professors themselves !!

Not to mention that most of the tools used are either damaged or do not give accurate results, or that their versions are very old and may not be used in the labor market at all !!

Throughout my studies in pre-university education, I have never been in the lab!

Even in the College of Engineering, with the exception of the first academic year, we used to study experiments mostly theoretically, and depend on ourselves to buy external tools to try and learn (this is if we wanted to do so at all) !!

But at least we were getting an idea about these matters, despite their lack, weakness, and often poor quality, except that they were like the wooden stick on which we leaned upon at the beginning of our contact with the labor market.

You can imagine that the current generations will not even own that stick !!
