"Lifestyle Diary Game [12.03.2024] "A busy but a pleasant day"

Dear all,
I hope all of you are having a lovely day and having a good time on the steemit platform. This is my entry to the contest, Lifestyle Diary Game, organized by @hive-183369. I will share my activities on Tuesday, 12th March, this week.
It was a busy day since I had to attend several critical professional-related activities. I visited the Faculty of Technology, Sri Jayawardenapura University, to learn about solar cell developments and their measurements.

Morning

I woke up at 5.30 am since I had a long journey at around 6.30 am. We went to the university in Chanaka Ayya's car. He is a research assistant at our university. Isuranga, another research assistant of our faculty, also joined the visit. I joined them in front of my house.
It took around 3 hours to reach our destination. We had our breakfast at a nearby hotel.
After having breakfast, we went inside the Sri Jayawardenapura University Technology Faculty. It was my first visit there.
We met Dr. Vikum, who is a renowned researcher in his field. He introduced several research assistants, and they taught us about solar cell absorber manufacturing and the application of conductivity glass, which can be used to manufacture solar cells. Then, they taught us how to take the measurements using a solar simulator and IV analyzer. It was a very informative session we had after a long time.

After the session, they took us to their canteen for tea. Then, we left the faculty premises to Balangoda.

Afternoon

We took our lunch on the way to Balangoda. Chanaka ayya took us to a famous hotel in Horana town and the food was very delicious, and the price was low. After lunch, we started our journey to Balangoda again. It was less tiring since the weather wasn't much hotter, and Chanaka Ayya's car was very comfortable with its great air conditioner.
