Steemit greetings from my mother land #Nigeria. How are you all? I hope you all are fine and enjoying your day. I wish you all good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today, I am here in this amazing community to share with you yet another glimpse of my day. I hope you all will get time to read and perhaps find it worthy to comment and vote.
IN THE MORNING
I've developed a habit of rising very early in the morning, this routine exercise has set a positive tone to my wellbeing. I woke up by 5am, and perform my morning prayers with my family. Thanking God every blessed day and communicating with Him through prayers is a spiritual connection that grants me inner peace and also instills me with a sense of purpose and motivation to face the day with positive outlook. Through this practice, I've equipped myself to navigate life's challenges with resilience and optimism.
Every last Saturday of the month is always the Environmental Sanitation in my state. Akwa Ibom State government has made it a norm for waste management Agency to clean the city every last Saturday of the month. It's pertinent to assist the government by keeping our respective surroundings clean and tidy always.
As a law abiding citizen, I deemed it fit to join other good citizens in my neighborhood to clean our street and surrounding. Environmental Sanitation is very important, the spread of diseases caused by poor hygiene can be prevented by keeping our environment always clean and tidy, hence, we've made it a tradition to clean our surrounding every month to maintain a clean, substenable and healthy environment.

IN THE AFTERNOON
Last festive season, I wasn't able to visit my Aunt due to my busy schedule. My Aunt, Mrs. Theresa Uwah is a Queen, her husband is the Village Head (A King) of Ikpetim Kingdom in Ikot Abasi Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State - Nigeria. Today, I had the pleasure of visiting my aunt, and it was an experience I will never forget. As soon as I arrived at her house, I knew I was in for a treat. The warm smile on her face and the twinkle in her eyes hinted at the super entertainment that awaited me.
My aunt welcomed me with a big hug and led me to the living room, where she had also invited the kindred and the village chiefs to join the celebration. The Village Council members were discussing with their king (my Aunt's husband) in the living room when I joined them. They all gave me a warm welcome. We spent the next few hours chatting, laughing, sharing memories and wine together.
As the chatting went on, my aunt announced that it was time for dinner. She had prepared my favorite dish, a delicious homemade pounded sweet yam popularly known in Ibibio language as (Usung Ikpong) with all the toppings I loved. We sat down to eat, and the conversation flowed easily as we shared stories and jokes.
The evening ended with a lot of merriments session, where we drank our hearts out to our favorite drinks. My aunt even taught me a few traditional histories, and we had a great time laughing and enjoying together with her husband, kindred and the entire family members.
As I prepared to leave, my aunt handed me a small gift bag with a sweet note that read, "Thanks for the super fun visit! Can't wait for the next one!" I left her house feeling happy and content, with memories of our super entertainment that I will cherish forever.
My visit to my aunt's house was a reminder that sometimes, the best entertainment can be found in the simplest things - good company, good food, and good fun. The moment we shared together reminded me of my mother when she was alive, indeed love is a beautiful thing. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!
