Lifestyle Diary Game [05/06/2024] || Making an unfruitful journey, but didn't regretted it

Greetings my beloved steemians across the globe, my name is @missyleo and this is my first time here, I hope I am highly welcome, as I'm about to participate in this very contest.

My thanks goes to @hive-183369 personally for organizing this very contest, this is a very nice and welcomed development.

Introduction

I will tell you all about the activities and the stress that I passed through from morning, afternoon and evening, and even with the night. It wasn't an easy one but I give God thanks because He gave me the strength to deal with it all without it weakening or breaking me.

Morning Session

I woke up as early as 5 :30am that yesterday morning, said a word of prayer and started with my personal hygiene routine before getting what to eat, why I was up early was that I had to travel down to my Local Government Secretariat to do some Data Capturing by 9 am in the morning.

The town I am in is far from from my LG secretariat so I had to move early since it was just an hour journey. I was able to get to the motor park before 8am, but before the vehicle moved from the park it was about 8:10am, the driver was fast, though I wasn't comfortable at all inside the vehicle because I was been squeezed inside the vehicle by two fat people, I experienced numbness in my both legs till I get to my destination because of how tight the vehicle was and I couldn't even free my hand by using my phone to capture anything.

Getting to the bus stop it was drizzling with drops of rain, so I picked a motorbike to my LG secretariat directly.

The bike I entered had a shade cover to protect me from the rain, as I got to the Secretariat I saw lots of people standing outside there, that means the people that are to conduct the capturing have not arrived yet, these was about 9:30am.

I was fortunate to see one of my village person there, a learned college, also coming for the capturing, so we decided to flow along immediately.

We stayed there till 10:30am and there was no single sign of anyone coming to process the capturing, yet many people were still coming for it, since this program was from the Federal Government direct.

People were just scattering everywhere there but one gentleman took upon himself to coordinate everyone by trying to tell us to be calm and be patient from now till 12noon, while we wait for the officials to come but if they don't come we can then go back home.

At that point, that my village person said to me let's talk a walk around the area, as we moved out we branch one of the restaurants because he was hungry, as he left the house without eating. But there was no food in the restaurant rather they had pepper soup and drinks, so he order for it for the both of us.

Afternoon Session

After we were done from there it was already afternoon, so we went straight to the secretariat to see if the officials have come and begins the capturing, but to our disappointment as we got there a lot of people have left to their houses and some were still lingering around there, we asked about the outcome, they told us that there is no information from them whether they are still coming again or maybe the next day, no single information or message.

That was how I called my brother's wife to know if she is in the house or gone to work, thank God she was at home and was happy I am in town, before going I branch one of the superstore to get some snacks for her and the baby boy.

She was so happy to see me but the baby boy was sleeping. We gisted a lot then she prepare noodles for me because she didn't cook food yet as she was busy sewing a client cloth.

Later on the boy woke up and he was all smiling because he saw me so we did the eating together and dis some snapping.

Evening Session

Later that evening I had to loosen her hair and plait her a new style, though not a technical style, just a corn roll because that was the simple style she wanted.

As I was in the hair, my brother called and ask the wife if she needs anything as he's coming back to the house, so the wife mentioned the stuff she needed, since she wanted to cook vegetable soup.

The husband was surprised to come and see me in the house whereas we did not tell him that I am here, so he said that add it been I told him that he would have gotten me snacks from the eateries, I felt bad🤔, the surprised I wanted to give me has now become my loss.

So we began with the cooking, as we were busy plugging the waterleaf for the cooking, my little nephew was trying to help us, but the help was for him to plug the leaf and be chewing it🤷.

When it was time to slice the vegetable the boy dis not allow the mother or anyone to washed it, he took charge of the washing. I said to him now that you can not do anything but you are rushing and crying to do it, but when you are of the age of doing all this things that's when you will say you are a big boy and that you will not do.

Later on my alarm ring and it was 7pm, the time for my online class, so I excused them and went inside to attend the class, it's normally an hour class and it was because of the class that made me delayed again in my brother's house because I didn't want to miss the class if I start my journey because there's no way I could have had the class in a public transport.

Night Session

I finished the class and it was about few minutes past 8pm and the soup was about to be done, my brother's wife was pleasing with me not to go, that I should sleep and go back tomorrow but I told her there's no way I can do that as I had some clothes on the lines that I washed besides I didn't even prepare myself, infact I gave her so many reasons for not sleeping yet she didn't want to accept.

When the soup was done she wanted to make garri (eba) for me I said no, she should just pack the soup for me when I get to my house I will eat it.

So the husband carried me on the motorbike to the motor park to get a vehicle, that was about after 9pm, luckily I saw a car that was still waiting for passengers so I entered and we proceeded with the journey.

But along the road we were stopped by a police checkpoint and they delayed us so well, we were all asked to come down from the vehicle for thorough charge.

After the whole checking we entered the car and continue our journey, the journey was a kind of smooth though too many checkpoint on the road, maybe that was because of how late it was.

So when I arrived home, I bought fufu (swallow) by the road side, so as I got home, I freshened up and dished out the soup because it was plenty, put the remaining part in the fridge, as I began to beat my dinner

By the time I was done eating the time was fast spend, though I still wanted to make this post that last night but sleep came calling so i had to obey the call of nature.
