I am very glad to partake in this religious contest,entitled:"Do you believe in Prayers"? It is religious because Christians,Muslims,Hinduism,Buddhism,Judaism etc believe it as a means of communicating or connecting in the spirit. Therefore,many thanks to @okere-blessing,steem for lifestyle community and everyone for such privilege.

What Is The Meaning Of Prayer To You?

From my own stand point as a Christian,Prayer is an act of talking to God as a father or friend,thanking,confessing or requesting something from Him.
Prayer can be made through songs, meditations or speeches.
Also,Prayer has different directions:
~Prayer of thanksgiving(Psalms 103:1-5)
~Prayer of forgiveness of sin(1John 1:9)
~Intercessory prayer(1Tim 2:1)
~Prayer of supplication,request or petition (Phil.4:6)
But all these directions can be navigated in a single prayer session.
One can pray in secret,or in public depending on the situation at hand to the will of God and not for vain glory.

Do You Think It's Necessary To Pray And How Many Times Should One Pray?

It is as necessary as the word of God in our lives to pray,and there is no stipulated number of times to pray.I pray because: ~Jesus Christ,the son Of God and my savior set the example. ~Prayer gives me access to relate with my Lord. ~Prayer solve every difficulties above human capabilities. ~Prayer is my Identity as a Christian. And every christian is instructed by Paul,an apostle of Jesus Christ to pray without ceasing (1thess.5:17)

Are There Some Supernatural Things Prayers Can Do?

Absolutely yes! ~Prayers made with faith in Christ Jesus can put food on the table.(Matt.7:7&8) ~Prayers can resurrect the dead.(John 11:43) ~Prayers can make a barren woman conceive as it was in the case of Abraham's wife,Sarah. ~Prayers moves God to release His ministering angels for man's deliverance.etc.

Do You Believe That Unanswered Prayer is Caused By Sin?

Unanswered prayer can be caused by sin and a number of other factors.
Some of these factors are:
~When the prayer is done out of the will of God or when we pray amiss.(James 4:3)
~When Some forces of darkness withhold the answer in the air as it was in the case of Daniel in babylon.
~When circumstance that required casting out of demon,if prayer is not backed up with fasting,it may be unanswered.(Mark 9:29)
-When it is not yet God's time as was in the case of Hannah.

Summarily,Prayer unlocks the gate of heaven,and gives mortal man access to experience supernatural grace from immortal God.
