Greetings to all steemians on this platform, I am very excited to write and participate in this week's power up contest. As we do know that power up is very important to a user on steemit platform and also to steemit platform at large. Have you ever wonderd why those with higher steem power do give us greater votes than authors with less SP.
Yes, coming to think about it, it is all about powering up and building your account so you can have higher influence on other articles or posts. Note that curators also do receive curators' rewards and one way or the other they do gain from your posts too when they curate your posts.
I would be making a Power-Up of 11.696 STEEM in participating in the contest. This is going to be my first entry and I promise to continue this so as to help build my Steem Power. I would be showing the process of how I went about it here in this article.
First of all, I opened my steemit wallet and logged into my wallet using the Active Key.
After logging in, we can clearly see my Steem Power (SP) and then my available Steem which I want to power up from the screenshot shown above.
Next, I then clicked on the small arrow attached to the Steem coin that I have in my wallet, of which I clicked on Power Up as shown below.

Next, I then entered the amount of Steem I would like to power up (11.696 STEEM). After which I clicked on Power Up as shown below.

Next, I then confirmed the transaction by clicking OK from the next window that opened. This is also indicated in the screenshot below.

As shown in the screenshot below, my Steem Power has now increased from 28.208 Pto 39.904 SP.
This is my first ever entry for this contest, and I hope that it will be validated and accepted so I can participate more in the subsequent weeks. Thank you all for your time and attention for reading my post.
