Web3 largely depends on the Gaming and Finance sector for it's growth on internet. Due to which there are many protocols in these two spaces. Injective protocol is one such blockchain designed for the finance sector. It's a layer 1 solution designed specifically for the finance and the banking sector.
Injective Protocol has recently launced an inEVM on it's mainnet chain.

So what is inEVM? And how does it makes sense for us as a consumer?
EVM stands for ethereum virtual machine. This is the compatibility layer for the layer 1 chains where they try to be compatible with ethereum mainnet. Here goal is to get the Injective protocol to be compatible with the Injective Protocol.
By making use of the inEVM inside the injective protocol there would be dApp being developed that would be compatible with both Ethereum and Injective protocol. The EVM and development around zero fees and the faster speed is going to make the Injective Protocol more lucrative towards the consumer usage.
Injective protocol has been working towards the goal of turning the apps from the other chain through the bridge. So their approach of bringing Solana has been in the motion through project like Eclipse. There are also some of the projects which are bringing the Cosmos dApps into the injective protocol. This goes to show the direction of the layer 1 chain for the finnace domain.
Caldera, Hyperlane and LayerZero labs are in the collab for the bringing rollup provider and interoperability apps into the chain. And considering the injective protocol being the fastest chain that is EVM compatible it could bring more operations into the Ethereum chain. Considering it is EVM compatible so the tools and the app development SDK would cross work between ethereum and Injective too.
This type of progress makes it easier for many other chains like Solana, Cosmos and Etheruem. So a lot of dApps that can be moved across the ecosystem as the Injective Protocol has been working as a cross chain bridge and inEVM just makes things just work.
