ETHEREUM CENSORSHIP IS A CONCERN

Both good and bad news are available for Ethereum owners. The main testnet and layer two are going live, which is fantastic news. The bad news is that censorship is getting more and more intrusive. The upcoming testnet will let programmers to around with Ethereum's enhancements. The upgrade will take place in 2023 and give Ethereum holders the ability to unstake their holdings. It won't be possible for everyone to unstake at once; it will happen gradually.

Other Ethereum proof of proposers, such as EIP 4844, will also be included in the upgrade. This will lower transaction costs by introducing shade to the network. The Shanghai update, in my opinion, won't be as significant as the others that will be made in 2019. Since the supply of Ethereum is currently at -0.23%, it is wise to take deflation into account. Supply is still growing at a negative rate even if it hasn't fallen substantially. The deflationary asset that Ethereum possesses is really intriguing to watch. Ethereum will eventually burn up a lot of fuel, which will reduce the currency's supply.

Unlike during the bull run, Ethereum is not now experiencing a lot of daily transactions. Layer 2 (Arbitrum) processes roughly 200 thousand transactions daily, whereas the Ethereum main network processes about 1.3 to 1.4 million daily. Additionally, optimism layer 2 processes around 75,000 daily transactions.
Because the block above the 51% threshold, the censorship of Ethereum is concerning. On Friday, 51% of the block was censored by Ethereum, and the majority of blocks are being sent by relays that also censored transactions using tornado currency. To see software in the middle of a transaction with decentralized software is plain depressing. The thought of censorship within the Ethereum block is not appealing to me.
