Powering up 48 steems to maintain my club75 status - It comes with lots of benefit

It is a great opportunity to be before this great community to relate how I'm growing on steemit.

Today, I will be showing my power up for this week which brings me closer to my goal of being a dolphin.

WHAT IS POWER UP

Power up can be explained to be a very important act on steemit which helps to lock a particular amount of steems from circulation in the external market.

It is an act that is greatly supported by the steemit team and every one on steemit, and this act led to the introduction of the club status which helps to measure the degree at which one power up.

Power up is very important as it helps measures the worth of an individual account, the more power up you make, the more influence you have on steemit.

IMPORTANCE OF POWER UP

• STABILIZES STEEM ECONOMY

Engaging in power up helps to stabilize steem economy in the sense that it locks some steems from circulation hereby increasing it's value.

• ENCOURAGES THE HABIT OF SAVING

The idea of regular power up helps to encourage the habit of saving, it will help every steemian become calculative on how they spend their money.

For example, if you earn 100steems weekly, you will need to power up at least 50steems, which is an act of saving too.

• BUILDS A STRONG ACCOUNT

Another Important of power up is that it helps to build a strong account which keeps a user in an opportunity to better support others on the platform.

When your account has been grown, you can better support newbies and help them grow.

MY POWER UP

To show my support of power up, I have decided to power up 48 steems which will be illustrated below

As shown above is a screenshot of my wallet before power up.
Showing above, I had a steem power of 3972 before I made my power up, now let's see how many I will have after my power up.

Then after the power up process, I went back to my wallet to confirm how many steem power I now have.

As shown above, I now have a steem power of 4020 which shows an increment of 48 steems.

MORE REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD POWER UP

There are still more reasons to engage in power up and some of them are:

• DELEGATION REWARD:

By powering up regularly just as I have done, you can decide to delegate your steem power to a growing community and earn passively from delegation rewards.

It is also important to note that the delegation reward is shared based on your delegation, the higher your delegation, the higher the reward.

• CURATION REWARD

Another Importance of powerup is that you can also earn from curation.

The steemit reward system is designed in a way that 50% of the reward automatically goes to the author and the other 50% goes to the curator.

When your steem power is high, you can also earn passively from curation reward.

CONCLUSION

It is very important to power up on steemit as it helps to balance steem economy and puts us in a position to better assist others.
