I hope we are all doing well. As we have seen in recent time, NFTs are the dominating items in the world of cryptocurrencies this days so it is a pleasure to be learning about it today.

After going through the tutorials which have been presented by @sagor1233, I will like to try my hands on the homework tasks which have been provided where I will try my possible best to provide answers to all the questions which have been asked in the homework post.

Without talking much, lets jump straight into it.

1. Read the first tutorial and Review this marketplace with your own thoughts.

The first market place is the opensea market place. Infect I can tell that there is not a single user of NFT that I know of that he or she does not use the open sea market place. It is very popular amongst NFT traders. Its popularity can be attributed to it being the first market place to handle the collection and also the sale of NFT collectibles.

Open sea is an Ethereum based NFT market place that is known for handling NFTs. On the opensea market place, the user can buy, sell also mint NFTs tokens that he can later put up for sale. For a first time user of the open sea market place, I think it is very user friendly. For a user who doesn't even have an NFT holding or has no intention of buying NFTs I think the site is very attracting. Opening the site makes a user want to involve in the art of buying and selling NFTs.

For a user to access the open sea market place on your web browser, you have to type opensea in the search area.

After searching click on the top one as indicated by the red arrow.

After clicking and opening open sea, you are taken directly to their homepage

On the homepage, a user can see the opensea logo on the let of the homepage, and then at the middle of the top the there is a place where the user can search for the item he or she is looking for.

At the right side of the homepage the user sees the explore tab, resources tab, stats tab, profile, and the wallet tab.

when we come down we see the explore and also the create tab. These 2 tab are meant for 2 things respectfully.
The Explore tab is used for exploring collectibles and the create is used for creating your own NFT. When a user clicks on the create tab he is taken to a tab where he or she is asked to connect his wallet.

When we go a little further, we then come to the trending list. This is where we see the list of NFTs that are trending on the open sea market. The user is able to see the assets which have gotten high offers over the last 7 days.

when you go further, there is a place where a user can see from all categories what is trending

On the Open sea market place, it should be known that a user can connect up to 15 wallets. Some of the wallets are metamask, wallet connect and many more

2. Discuss how to create an account in this marketplace.

---

As I have said already, the open sea site is a user friendly network thus it is very easy for a user to locate and create his profile rather easily on the site. It is quite easy for a user to create his profile following this simple steps.

As I said before, you have to make sure you access the opensea site on google.

After you have opened it click on the create tab on the home page of the site.

As soon as you click on the create tab, a tab opens where you are asked to select the wallet you want o connect with

For me, I will am going to be using my metamask wallet so I will click on the metamask wallet option.

After I selected the metamask option, my wallet pop up comes for me to connect the wallet and the site.

Click on the next tab and click on the connect tab as shown by the red arrow to connect your wallet with opensea.

A pop up appears for me to confirm both addresses before finally signing in

I have connected both wallets successfully as seen from the screenshot below

3. Please Include How To setup your account as like professional.

After connecting my wallet, I am now logged in. But as we can see from the screenshot I have not set up my account yet.

I will now set up my account by going to the setting tab.

The setting tab can be seen at the right side of the homepage as seen from the red arrow.

when I go to the settings tab, I will see a place where I can enter my username, tell a little about my self, put my mail where I can be contacted and some other stuff

4.Mint your own NFT & Write a short blog about it.

In this part of the task I will be showing how to create and mint my own NFT.

Unfortunately I wont be able to use ETH because I have no eth funds thus I will be using the polygon network.

As I stated before, the open sea network doesn't only support eth but it also supports polygon. Using eth requires me to pay a gas fee for minting which is in eth so instead I will be using the polygon where they do not require a gas fee.

First of all I will click on the create tab at the top right of the homepage.

Then I will upload the art that I want to mint.

After adding my art, I will choose the polygon network as we know that minting is free on the polygon network. After naming my art and making the necessary requirements I clicked on the create tab.

Then I was provided with a captcha that I clicked to verify am not a robot before minting my NFT.

5. List your own NFT & Write a short blog about it.

For this part of the assignment I will show how I will list the NFT that I have just minted.

Firstly, to be able to sell my NFT at the market place I will have to click on the sell option as shown by the screenshot.

After clicking on the sell option I was taken to a next page where I entered the details of my item, details like the price of the art, the duration I want it to be put up on sale etc.

After setting my price and also the the duration I want to put the asset on sale, I will now click on the complete listing tab

After clicking on the complete listing tab, I will now have to complete some proceeding on my metamask extension wallet where I will allow for the site to be able to sign in and sell my NFT.

After signing in I will now unlock the currency feature by signing on my my metamask again

Then I will make the final and third step before signing in

Now my NFT has been listed successfully
