That morning, soft sunlight penetrated the window curtains, giving warmth to the entire room. I woke up earlier than usual, and saw Azka already awake, jumping on the bed with a cheerful smile. I smiled seeing him, and immediately joined him on the mattress.
"Come on, Azka, let's play!" I said while stroking his hair.
Azka immediately agreed enthusiastically, "Let's go, Mom!"
The two of us went downstairs to the living room, where we usually play. I prepared some of Azka's favorite toys, such as colorful wooden blocks and cute dolls that always made him laugh. Today, I decided to accompany Azka to play pretend. We made a house from wooden blocks, and Azka was the "homeowner" while I played the role of the "neighbor" who came to visit.
"Good morning, neighbor! How are you?" asked Azka in a sweet voice, imitating adult conversation.
"Good morning, Azka! Your house is very beautiful!" I replied with a big smile.
We laughed together, and that togetherness made me feel warm. Time flies so fast, Azka who initially only played with blocks is now starting to be more creative, making various shapes. From home, he made a shop, a school, even a playground. I got involved, occasionally giving ideas and helping to assemble the blocks to make it more interesting.
After a few hours of playing, we both felt hungry. Azka pulled my hand, "Want some breakfast, Mom?"
Of course, I agreed. We both headed to the kitchen, still with laughter and happiness in our hearts, continuing a simple but meaningful morning.
New Year's Eve arrived, and the excitement began to spread throughout the city. The street lights twinkled, creating a beautiful sight. I had planned something special for the family tonight, so I invited them to go for a walk, enjoying the cheerful atmosphere of the night.
Azka looked very excited. His eyes were sparkling as we got into the car to the place I had chosen. "Mom, where are we going?" he asked curiously, in a cheerful voice.
"You'll see for yourself, Azka. We're going to a fun place," I replied with a smile, stroking his hair.
We arrived at an amusement park that was crowded with visitors. The sparkling lights from the various rides radiated all around, and cheerful music accompanied our steps. Azka was immediately interested in the various games there. "Come on, Mom, let's try that one!" he exclaimed, pointing to the mini car that children could ride.
I smiled and nodded. We queued for a while, and soon Azka was sitting in the mini car that was going around a small track. His face was cheerful, his hands holding the steering wheel of the toy enthusiastically, as if he was really driving the car himself. I stood outside, watching with pride and a smile on my face, enjoying the happiness radiating from him.
After that, we continued our adventure in the amusement park, trying various other games. Azka played happily, riding the merry-go-round, playing ball, and jogging around the arena. Every time he laughed, it felt like the world was ours, full of happiness and warmth.
As the night grew late and the sound of fireworks began to be heard in the distance, we sat together enjoying the atmosphere. The night sky decorated with fireworks added to the excitement, and Azka enthusiastically shouted, "Happy New Year, Mom!" While waving his hands to the colorful sky.
We all laughed and spent the night happily. That moment, a New Year's Eve full of joy with family, will always be a beautiful memory that will not be forgotten.
