Wow, that's cool how the icicles are hanging everywhere. The branches are completely frozen. I have seen such iced branches at a a tree near a waterfall in Slovenia, but yours look so cool, @melinda010100 😊

I bet it is still cool to see - we have very seldom an ice rain here and I cannot remember such icicles, but ice all over the car in the morning I can remember ;)

I completely understand about the EL. I used to compete to hold 2nd place, with Janton in first. It is an incredible amount of work, and to keep our sanity, both Janton and I stepped down. I'm thinking about rejoining, but only if I can convince myself to be happy with 20th place and not compete to be in the top 10! It is too much work!

I may be out of tokens for the day but,

Seriously, I didn't believe @janton at first when he told me that it would become too much work, but now I do and soon I'll step back anyway - not to stop commenting nor replying, just not to have to do it anymore, but do it for fun :)

I don't know if you are aware, but when you use steemreply I can not see your comments when I am on my phone. I have to wait until I can get to a computer and remember to go back and see what you said. I do almost all my steemin from my phone, so if I ever don't respond, that is why!

Wow @melinda010100 your pix are amazing. It's been such weird weather here in Upstate NY, from snow to ice storms to 59 degrees today. I actually went out today to take down Christmas decorations in just a sweater.

We leave for Florida on Jan. 26th for a 6 week respite from the brutal cold on our mountain in February. But with the temp being so mild today, @thebigsweed and I went for a ride on our 4 wheelers. Perfect.
Just breathe.
Hope you are doing well, you are in my thoughts often.
I have so many photos of cool shadows in hope of investigating your contest .
Could you send me a link or instructions on how to get involved with this fun.

As much as I hate to see ice outside of my house, I have to admit that it is beautiful! We have had an unusually warm winter so far with very little snow.

I'm not complaining but I hope it doesn't mean we get to have winter for longer once it does set in. lol
