2025.02.15 토요일, 수촌마을 제로100 PC방
토요일 오전에 일어나 휴일을 만끽하면서, 내방에서 컴퓨터를 켜고 유튜브를 보다가📺 본격적으로 다시 롤을 하기 시작했다.🎮
그날은 아무 일정이 없어서 하루 종일 롤만 할 생각이었다. 💪 🎮🔥
첫 두판을 억울하게(?) 지고 다시 아이언2 티어로 강등이 됐는데😭, 이 사실을 동네 친구들 단톡방에 강등한 화면을 캡처해서 올려두니 PC방에 가서 같이 게임을 하자고 했다.💀
그렇게 아재 셋이 모여서 맘스터치에서 햄버거로 점심을 먹고 비장한 마음으로 PC방을 갔다.🍔
나를 제외하고 두명이고 롤 랭겜은 듀오까지만 가능해서 그 두명이서 교대를 하면서 나와 듀오를 해서 아이언에서 브론즈로 승급을 하는 목표였다.
이게 얼마나 든든하던지, 마치 내가 동네에서 불량배들에게 얻어맞고 그 사실을 단톡방에다 올려두니 동네 친구들이 놀라서 달려나와서 그놈 어딨냐고 찾고 있는 느낌이랄까.. 참 인생을 잘 살았다는 느낌도 받았다(ㅋㅋㅋㅋ).😂
놀랍게도 교대 없이 듀오로 랭겜을 돌려서 12시부터 8시까지 8시간 동안😂😂😂(ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ) 한판도 지지 않고 10판을 연속으로 이겨서 브론즈 3까지 가는 괄목할만한 성과를 냈다.🏆🎉
Saturday: The Day of the Bronze Climb 🎮🔥
I woke up on Saturday morning, fully enjoying my day off.
After turning on my computer in my room, I started watching YouTube 📺.
Then, I finally decided to get serious and dive back into LoL. 🎮
Since I had no plans that day, I was ready to grind all day long. 💪
Unfortunately, my first two games ended in heartbreaking losses 😭,
and I was demoted back to Iron 2.
Feeling defeated, I posted a screenshot of my demotion
in my neighborhood friends' group chat.
Immediately, my friends rallied together and told me to come to a PC café
so we could fix this disaster. 💀
So, three middle-aged guys gathered,
had burgers at Mom’s Touch 🍔,
and then headed to the PC café with determination.
Since LoL ranked games only allow duo queues,
they took turns playing with me,
with the single goal of ranking me up from Iron to Bronze.
It felt so reassuring, like I had been bullied by thugs in the neighborhood,
and after posting about it in the group chat,
my friends rushed in like:
"Where is that bastard? Let's take care of this!" 😂
Honestly, in that moment, I felt like I had lived a pretty good life. (LOL)
The Legendary Climb 🏆
Shockingly, we didn’t even need to rotate teammates.
We just duo queued non-stop from 12 PM to 8 PM—a full 8 hours (😂😂😂).
And incredibly, we won 10 games in a row,
achieving a flawless victory streak.
By the end of the day, I had climbed all the way to Bronze 3. 🥉🎉
기분이 좋아진 나는 저녁으로 이 두명에게 고기를 샀다.🥩🔥🍻
그 다음날에 한판 져서 다시 브론즈4가 된 걸 다시 한판 연속으로 해서 브론즈3으로 돌아왔다.😭🏆
내가 언제 다시 10연승을 해보나 싶다. 🤷♂️😂
Feeling great after our epic climb,
I treated the two of them to Korean BBQ for dinner. 🥩🔥🍻
The next day, I lost a game and dropped back to Bronze 4. 😭
But I immediately won another game, climbing back to Bronze 3. 🏆
Who knows when I'll ever get another 10-game win streak like that again... 🤷♂️😂
