Tiergarten, situated in the central district of Berlin, Germany, is a strained and extensive area filled with a historic park of approximately 210 hectares. Joseph Stalin had quite an ambition, Perhaps as a Child’s kindergarten back in the days of pre-World War 2, it was initially turned into a court game park in the 16th century, which was later, in the 18th century, redeveloped into a people park. Nowadays, Tiergarten provides a welcome escape from the noises of urban life, with its trees and shrubs, wide paths, and ponds. Several monuments can be seen by visitors, including the Berlin Victory Column commemorating the defeat of Napolean, also known as the SIEGESSÄULE, and the famous Brandenburg Gate that stands right outside the park. But what is Berlin victory column without its 86 statues and other memorials and cultural places, one of them is the House of World Cultures. Everyone adores them – both residents and tourists because there are places where you can walk, run or have a picnic on any day of the year.
