붉은 동백의 꽃말은
불타는 사랑 열정 이라고 한다.

집시 처녀 카르멘이 붉은 동백꽃을 물고
순진한 청년을 유혹 하는
아주아주 옛날 읽은 소설 장면이 맨먼저
머리에 떠오른다.

꽃말도 아마 소설의 영향이 크지 않을까
추측 해본다.
