Intro to Winter Sports Community

I grew up going to Colorado at times but the sports were pretty much skiing and snowboarding but mostly the same few things. There are a ton of other fun Winter Games and Sports around and am going to highlight a few. The point of Sports regardless of season or region is Healthy competition and fun and to enjoy fitness. IMHO, some of the most fun ones are in the Winter category!

(wheeeeee, giphy)

Ice Driving! Cars with special tire Ice grippers so you can spin and race on ice. This is a recent and luxury sport with many people wanting to do crazy tricks in Bugatti's that have spikes on the tires.

Dog Sledding- Yay for Huskies and Malamutes, just hop on and let your canine pals do the rest. This is something I'd love to do at least once. Still a staple for survival in many places like Alaska.

Diving- Nothing says fun like having to be in special suits so you don't freeze and diving UNDER Ice and around deep Glaciers to look up through crystal sheets of frozen bliss. This one seems a bit scary

Ice Fishing- Another Sport/ Cultural staple for people to eat. Cut (usually hacksaw) into Ice and wait for a fishy to bite and voila..........dinner is served!

Until next time, Stay Cozy!
