Daily thoughts, My stock portfolio

in hive-184373 •  4 years ago

I decided to make my own stock portfolio spread sheet as I couldn't find one I liked or one that allowed me to play around enough. I will probably try and improve the functionality of it in the future but for now it has done the job to give me a clear idea of what I have.

Highlights are 0% cash, 20% banks, 15% clean energy, 25% tech

Biggest holdings bank of Ireland 10% and alphabet 7%

So what should I add and what should I dump?

I talk about it more in this video Daily thoughts, My stock portfolio (5mins). I do a crappy vlog mainly to focus my thoughts

This is my daily thoughts on what I am and am not trading and why. I find it really good to focus my thoughts. And hopefully I'll get some great feedback and generate some discussion

I use brave browser it is pretty good, just like chrome except ads are optional and if you opt in you get paid for it. Here's a referral link that earns me a small amount

My favorite site for trading is Bitmex, as the future contracts allow for lots of arbitrage opportunities and the leverage lets me leave most of my stash safe in cold storage. If you don't already use it and would like to sign up, here is a referral link that will get you 10% off fees and rewards me with 10% of the fees you pay, we both win.

Similarly my favorite site for trading options is Deribit, Here is a referral link for that.

A few of the exchange sites I also use are binance, bittrex and hitbtc, I find them about as good as the other exchanges to be honest but these have referral links so I figure I'd shill for them.

My favourite exchange is not bitmex as it does not perform well in a high volatile market

sorry for late reply as I was travelling.

The outages during high volatility rarely effects me as I mostly trade mid and long time frames.

But if you are doing high freq or algo trading ,day trading, sure you need to be careful. But those high frequency times are where there are a lot of mispriced assets, even with the outages and sometimes because of the outages there is a profit to be made
