Reconsidering Cryptocurrencies Role in the global banking system.

Merger of crypto and traditional banking

I just read a post, which was about Ripple and XRP, but it made me rethink the role of Tron and Steem in the global economic system. I will talk first about how the article made me think about XRP’s role in the crypto universe and then tie that into Steem and Tron.

I was interested in Ripple a while ago, and bought 1000 Tokens. But as I descended into the Cryptocurrency Rabbit Hole I started forming a less favorable opinion of it because it was considered to centralized and was seemingly appealing to the existing global banking system for inclusio, when at the time I thought the whole point was to separate from the existing banking system and only participate in fully decentralized, projects. But that was when I was newly “awakened” and “baby” cryptocurrency enthusiast. Now I am somewhere between toddler and pre-teen having learned hard lessons and had to face hard facts of the scams and centralization in this space. So I think I was ready for this article.

It was after reading it that I realized we should open our eyes and minds to all possibilities for mass adoption and appreciation of our Token Steem and Tron.
Perhaps one role they will play is as a bridge between the two banking system to ease the travel between the systems and facilitate both investment in Steem along with its adoption and ease of using Steem as a currency to purchase real world things like good, water, clothing and shelter.
