This morning, I noticed that "Sky" kept her right eye closed. At first I thought she was just waking up but after holding it closed for more than half an hour, I started to get worried and tried to look at her eye and check for any symptoms. However I could not see any foreign object in there, nor any green discharge. The eye just appeared to be a little pink.
"Sky" did have an infection on the same eye about 2 months ago and was diagnosed as having "conjunctivitis" by the vet. Now this looked similar except no discharge was coming out from the eye. Considering this could be an infection or injury, we took "Sky" straight to the vet for a check up before waiting any longer.
The vet confirmed it's the same eye infection again and therefore gave us the same eye cream treatment. The vet bill was not cheap either which was over £100 in total but at least we can rest assured that our four-legged friend will get better in a few days.
