Last Two Survivors Valencia - San Nicolas Church + Hidden Door

The San Nicolas Church in Valencia has become a huge touristic attraction in Valencia after they restored and refreshed the breathtaking fresco paintings. Some people call it the Valencian version of the Sistine Chapel.

Before we were the only two people living in Valencia, we visited this catholic church many times and always made sure to show it off to our guests. We went back now to the San Nicolas Church with the idea to look behind curtains, and to explore the church in way we could never have done it during "normal" times.

It was eerie to have this incredible place all to our ourselves and it didn't take too long to see an outline of an overpainted door inside one of the chapels. We opened it and we found stairs taking us right under these fresco painting.

We walked by the rose window and the way continued to another set of stairs, taking us up to the bell tower. It was incredible and we've never seen Valencia from this perspective, ever.
