Greetings intrepid travelers and adventurers. In today’s video I am sheltering in a small cave in the cliff side overlooking the waterfall as it pours over the edge of the cliff and down to the sea level below. From there it meanders a few more yards until it flows directly into the Indian ocean on the south Cape coast of Africa.
It’s raining as you can see, but I’m not deterred and since the weather is generally so mild here at 34 degrees south latitude, I simply wear a rain coat and continue my hiking adventures along the cliff tops of this awesome stretch of the south coast of Africa.
I’m waiting for the rain to subside a bit before venturing out of the cave shelter once more but while I’m here, I can meditate on the awesome and epic rush of water as it pours past at a ferocious pace. The rain has certainly filled the stream today and the sight is epic.
This is how to celebrate life in my opinion. Going out into nature and experiencing the elements like this is so invigorating and uplifting. It really feels like the perfect way to pass the time, especially when you have all the time in the world. Life is about choices regarding how we spend out time. I like to spend it relishing the beauty of nature and the outdoors as much as possible.
This river is at its fullest now, with all the rain, though in drier parts of the year it will slow to a trickle, which is hard to imagine when you look at it now in its present state. It’s so full now that I have to make a serious to cross it as it rushes down this narrow gorge. I’m immersed in the healthy natural environment to such a degree that the rumors of poor health that trouble the planet are far distant echoes to me.
Life is exactly the same as it has always been here, with no change or risk whatsoever, so it’s hard to imagine how the rest of the civilized world is under such harsh medical tyranny and fear over something that appears more like media hype and propaganda from this perspective.
Situated here on this southernmost edge of the African continent, and surrounded by clean fresh air and pure rain water feels like the perfection of life on earth. It truly is a life sustaining and invigorating environment, while remaining sheltering and mild simultaneously.
If you feel yourself to be under the harsh conditions of your particular part of the planet then feel free to come join me here on the south Cape coast of Africa, where I can show you the sights and lesser known beautiful parts of the natural environment that is so healthy and inspiring, and is our natural birth right. The problems of the modern world fade into insignificance when you simply relocate to a more nurturing part of the planet.
I’m glad I could share this awesome experience of nature with you. Let me know what you think of it in the comments, and tell me what your situation is like by comparison on your side of the globe. I’m always curious to hear how the other half is doing.
