It is Summer and the need for getting to the water is more and more every day that you are in lack of water. It is just hot and the option of going to the ocean were challenging for me because of time and because of that it is Summer holiday in the Netherlands at the moment. But the water was still calling.....

So Beachclub Sunrise was the best go to option in the neighborhood. Let's check it out!

Beachclub Sunrise is a part from the swimming lake Aquabest located in Best, near the Eindhoven region. A lot of people might know this from them hosting EDM shows like Extrema and lakedance in the past. As you all know, because of Covid, no dancing this year!

But one thing that people have always loved is having a nice bed to chill on, getting their cold drinks, and having a snack on the side. This is all possible at sunrise. If you just want to chill at the lake, this is also possible, you jus't need to take a different entrance and pay only the entrance fee and you can bring your own everything.

Crowd

You can't go around snapping the crowd, so I took this statue. Always a better deal ;)

One of the things which always strikes me is the crowd which these kinds of clubs attract. Lots of fake body parts, tattoos, people who are way too tanned way too early into the season, and in general everybody always has their gym schedule on fleek it seems.

I am not really like this, but I do like to check out this crowd and have a little grin from it, and observe on the side.

Reservation and QR codes

One of the nice things of technology is how reservations seem to work these days. You check online if there is a bed vacant for you and you already rent your umbrella with it or not. No more showing up and turning out that there is not a spot for you anymore. I like it!

Also ordering drinks you do with your QR code which corresponds to your bed number. You pay online with your IDeal (the normal e-banking app in Holland) and everything is ready to go. Easy Peasy.

If you want advice on the food? Expect beachclub food which is overpriced and not given too much love. Nachos are good but stupidly expensive

Sunsets

Even though Beachclub Sunrise doesn't have the best sunsets (hence the name....get it ) chilling there in the evenings until you feel like going home is still a really nice thing to do in the weekends. During weekdays they close at 1900, but in the weekends they stay open untill 23.00. Not a bad deal for a nice chill session after work!

For me this is a serious option for just a day getaway. It is not the cheapest at all I must say, but when there is no vacation going on, you got to tickle yourself sometimes for the good stuff in life right?
