Our trip to the Grand Canyon was one of the wonderful excursions that are memorable and memorable, pleasant to remember, and the photographs are pleasant to look at.
My photo on the edge of the Grand Canyon later became my avatar in many social resources, so I like it, and such wonderful memories emerge when looking at it.

I do not know how to explain the sensations. It seems that there was nothing particularly remarkable: an exhausting trip very far by bus back and forth, in fact, waking up at 5 am and returning at 22-00 pm, heat, day on the road .... but the impressions are fantastic.
Probably, this is the natural power of this place, the greatness and grandeur of what you see around, the understanding of how many millennia it all costs, and how small man and human life are among all these creations of nature.

So, a day trip to the Grand Canyon.
We bought a tour the day before at one of the tourist offices, which came across quite a lot when walking along the main street.
Everyone offered excursions to the Canyon, it is far enough from Las Vegas, so everyone offered an excursion for the whole day, from early morning to late evening.

It was immediately possible to buy both a helicopter flight and a boat ride on the bottom of the Canyon.
We went through a few excursions, thought we wanted to be included and opted for a day tour with stops at several places along the way.
There, indeed, it is a long way to travel by bus, so tourists are offered several trips to different places.

We got together from 6 am and left at about 7 am on a big bus.

Having driven not far from Las Vegas, we stopped in this place, near such a hill.

We were offered to walk along it, there were ladders in a circle, a view of something from the hill, but, to be honest, I don’t remember anything remarkable about this hill, there was only a photograph and a vague memory that, yes, they stopped and climbed ...
I wouldn't be surprised if we stopped there at all to take the whole bus to the toilet. :)))

Then we drove and drove again and the next stop was at Hoover Dam.
This is a famous structure, which I will elaborate on in the next post.

To be continued.
