A friend brought me here once. I've heard the place but haven't had time to see what's around. From Amsterdam Central, it will take you almost 51 minutes to get here via the metro. When she mentioned "china town" I had this colourful, lively sorrounding, plenty of goods for you to select on that's playing in my mind. This was the first street that we need to cross heading inside. Just when I saw those red hanging balloon- like lamps above, I had my chance to sneak my first photo.
Then, here I go on my second photo, looking for my picture -perfect spot to pose. Those people that were passing by, it adds to the beauty of what you can see around. For me, that makes it more beautiful to appear. More crowd means it gives you the idea of such a nice place to hang around. Obviously, it's a friendly place because you can bring your pets with you too whenever you visit here. Just be responsible enough to take with you a plastic bag for your pet's poop whenever the call of nature for them is inevitable.
As you step into the inner area, you can find your parking space (if you have your bicycle or scooter with you). If you're out of racks, just put your vehicle on the side or nearby in a manner that it's been neatly done. Aside from getting fined for placing your vehicle in a non parking area, which you wouldn't be happy by the way because it costs around 20 euro, it'll cause annoyance as well to your fellow parkers if you don't place your bike or scooter properly.
You can also find varieties of botiques around, from clothes, toys, gadgets, shoes, and a lot more.
Plenty of restaurant selections also that you may just try to taste around, and who knows this will become your new favorite. I'll recommend the KIMCHI HOUSE-korean cuisine which offers set of hot pot, which comes in different soup flavor according to your preference. Four rounds of meat served (choose according to their menu). Beverages and desserts were not included in the amount worth 25.50 euro each person. Price varies from monday to thursday amounts 25.50 euro/pax while friday to sunday is 27.50 euro/pax. You can either have an earlier reservation before you go to the place if you want a sure spot in case there's plenty of people around waiting. Or you can just head directly to the place and see how heavy the line is or if you're lucky enough then it's just calm and you just go directly inside.
After having such heavy meal,we headed for a peaceful walk just in front of the restaurant, the place has sorrounding park and old church. And just on our way to the metro station, we saw this inviting ambiance of a bubble tea store named SISI and we tried. Good enough to end our afternoon session in Den Haag.
