Cloud Gate is British ace Anish Kapoor's first open outside work presented in the United States.

The 110-ton contorted figure is made of a predictable strategy of in a general sense cleaned treated steel plates, which reflect Chicago's famous skyline and the fogs above. A 12-foot-high bend gives an "entryway" to the disheartened chamber underneath the model, inviting visitors to contact its mirror-like surface and see their image reflected back from a blend of perspectives.

Charged by liquid mercury, the figure is among the best of its sort on earth, assessing 66-feet long by 33-feet high.

Cloud Gate sits upon the AT&T Plaza, which was made possible by a gift from AT&T.

Thousand years Park is composed in the point of convergence of downtown Chicago. It is enveloped by Michigan Avenue toward the west, Columbus Drive toward the east, Randolph Street toward the north and Monroe Street toward the south.
