Today I start with a series of posts regarding my honeymoon, start with my first cruise, made with the Italian company msc, this company has various ships of more sizes that deal with various routes, so today I will tell you about the ours, one of the smallest but no less beautiful or luxurious, Msc lyrica, for me still very large, with thirteen floors of pure beauty, four restaurants, many bars and clubs, two discos, a theatre, relaxation rooms, casino, spa , areas for children and gamers and of course bridges and swimming pools.

Even the ship will deserve more than a post because there is so much to say and then it will take a separate chapter for the food. But let's start from the beginning. We embarked from Venice after a boat had taken us from the terminal where we checked in very quickly to Porto Maghera where we were embarked after routine checks and taking the our personal Cruise card which, once activated (there are various multilingual activation stations on board) is used for all purchases on board. We immediately headed to our cabin to wait for the luggage, and we were already lost because there are so many corridors, the cabin was about twenty meters long, small but very clean and functional, they let us do the safety drill and communicated our dinner shift, at 9.30 pm and table and restaurant (L' Ippocampo) and then we set about exploring the ship and the bridges far and wide which required several hours and stops to photograph everything.

The departure from Maghera.

Some pictures of us in the cruise stairs and of some bar ( the red is the cabaret bar, the blue the disco bar) of the cruise, almost empty when we arrived but extremely full during the evening.

We also immediately search for the bridges because I'm a smoker and also because I want to see the port view.

From the bridges we headed to deck eleven, the most visited because it was the longest with swimming pools, deckchairs and many bars, where in the evening various themed evenings were unleashed, very fun and beautiful, and during the day they held sports and dance lessons and various dj set, basically this deck is one of the heart of the ship.

When we arrived the ship was not very full but as people were embarked there were many of us wandering around the ship. We ourselves weren't able to see it all before dinner, limiting ourselves to a few bars and decks, I'll tell you the rest later, in another post dedicated to our first snack on the ship, where a rich buffet and our first beautiful dinner awaited us . I leave you with the photo of when we left Venice to head towards our first stop, Dubrovnik in Croatia for which we sailed for a full day and two nights. Enjoying all the comforts that the ship could offer.
