Strolling On Mountains And Valleys Of "Gyansa" For Almost 3 Hours

Though trudging on mountains and valleys aren't easy for many people, I myself I don't take delight in doing it, but it's a great exercise and adventure as well. Today I found it being necessary to stroll on "Gyansa" mountains and valleys. I had ever visited that village of *"Gyansa"* when a friend of my was teaching in that village. I saw the mountains and vallays surrounding the village. But in those days, I never tried to tour around these areas. I used to mock my friend what happen to those inhabitants to chose that area as settlement, since the place might be dangerous, and quite apart from that commercial vehicles do not run? According to him, the Inhabitants settled there because of wars in ancient time. Despite all these, I see the village having a great tourist attraction, that's the mountains and valleys scarp which I need to troll to see more stuff there.

Friday is the best day for me to set off this journey, though excited but little adventure since I had not visited those mountains and valleys before. The road on Fridays being ordinary day is cool and dim, apart from Thursdays which is the market day for *"Nsuta"* township, no vehicle goes to the village, except maybe the driver has his special assignment to do there. It's was exactly around 10:30am in the morning when my wife and the children have gone to visit their parents, I also decided to take a walk to those mountains and valleys. From *"Nsuta"* to the village might be 4miles journey, though for my first time I used motorbike so I couldn't calculate the exact length. I took a walk from my house to the main road that link to *"Beposo"*( In our local dialogue meaning mountain), where about 2miles you get to the junction of Gyansa road.

The scotching Sun hasn't appeared so I walked quickly on the main road. Unfortunately the road is under rehabilitation so there are enough dust on the road when vehicle by pass. I catched up moving fast to the junction where I would branch to Gyansa road. Even all their roads are mountains and valleys. My first encounter of my main task of this adventure is to descend through a valley and again climb a mountain 🗻. This is where I started shooting with my camera📷 to see if I can get a nice photo with my *Tecno Spark 4 KC8.*

Things have been improved on the road, at first it looked more like a path that only timber trucks move on it, but now they have reconstructed all the though metamorphic rocks to become smooth. But the valleys and mountains still show on the road. For my second time, I again stroll along the red untarred valley, where I took my second photography.

The alleys of the Teak trees grown on the road side gives some shades that make walking on the road a little bit relaxed and flexible. Look at the scene here:

I was nearly to the Gyansa village, buy I had to first trudged to the mountains too to feel how being at altitude is. It wasn't easy for me climbing to that tall mountain, but I had to try to get there. I moved a step by step to the top here. On the base of the mountain is someone's farm. Though I couldn't reach the topmost of the mountain since there wasn't proper place to get contact, and even where to position my machine to capture photograph. I finally sat on the rock where I had small place to set my phone to shoot my camera. I viewed the amazing natural landscape at far distances here.

I stepped down gently from the mountains since I began to frightened because of the height. I could see at far places down the valley.

I came to the steep valley side where I captured few valleys covered with vegetation of tall trees. I really admire this scene and embrace how nature is very beautiful.

I came back to the road side heading towards the village, it was a few minutes for me to get there, but that wasn't my main target. I was by the tired and exhausted a lot of my energy upon a long walk, climbing and descending on mountains and valleys. I finally came and relax in their village school to get the fresh natural air blowing around the environment. Here, the place was very quiet and serene, no one was there since schools have been closed down due to Covid-19 pandemic. I took few pictures here while enjoying rest.

Their environment still look green, especially with their grasses and Acasia trees. There are a lot of shades here.

Their volley cot is found on the same place with little bushy needed to be weeded, but who is to come and clear as school children aren't ready to volunteer. I was shocked to see the volley net left ajar for the scotching Sun🌞 to destroy before money💰 is to waste to buy another one.

Their classrooms seem to be unfinished and lacking a lot of items like tables and chairs. I felt like entering BS9 class where I found well labelled diagrams of some Science practicals like *"the digestive system of human, dentition and magnetism"* drawn on pieces of cardboards.

I captured their staff Bangalore here. It's also half way completed, maybe they are yet to paint it.

I decided not to go to the village settlement, but that doesn't mean that I wouldn't capture the scene.

This is where I decided to end my tour on mountains and valleys. I step back to the road to get back home. I was then thinking about the long way ahead of me again to reach home. But this is no problem since I have achieved my target being here. I gain took a walk gradually get to the main road to Nsuta. The day was for me to capture every interesting image with my camera, so found the slaughter house where a cow has been tied on a rope ready for the butcher man to slaughter it, I removed my camera phone to shoot few images here.

I finally had few minutes to reach home, as I could see the large main road just about 10mins walk to the Nsuta town. On the road, I captured the dusty road under construction. There was also nice river here, which was helping a lot of people closer to the banks, but the road contractors just destroyed everything, removed the big trees that have been supporting it.
