The Rose Bowl is a cricket ground in the West End of Hampshire County, England. The stadium is known as the Aegis Bowl due to its business publicity. It is the main training ground of Hampshire County Cricket Club. The team has been playing in this field since 2001. The Hampshire team moved from Southampton's County Ground in 185 to build the field. The Hampshire team participated in first-class cricket for the first time here on May 9-11, 2001 against Worcestershire. The hosts won by 124 runs. Since then, one-day international cricket matches have been held regularly. Among them, the Rose Bowl Authority was responsible for organizing several games of the 2004 Champions Trophy. Two Twenty20 Internationals have also been played here. The 2011 Test match between England and Sri Lanka was held.
