Extending over an area of about 80,000 square meters, the Parco delle Cascate di Molina is between the last stretch of the Molina Valley and the confluence with the Val Cesara and the Vaio delle Scalucce, in the Lessini Mountains a few kilometers from Lake Garda.
The territory, characterized by the abundance of water with perennial springs that flow on the impermeable cretaceous limestone of the Biancone, is made particularly suggestive by the roar of the numerous waterfalls, by the flowing of the streams in the narrow valley bottoms with steep slopes, sometimes impetuous and sometimes slower with the formation of small green lakes and the presence of large caves.
The Parco delle Cascate has various paths and itineraries that can be traveled on foot and well marked, of different duration and difficulty, thus passing from the Bear's Waterfall with its deep well, to the Green one and the Quareta, called "Black Waterfall" with the amusing acrobatic swing that almost reaches the water; from the Bear Cave, with hunting scenes painted on the walls, to the area of the Mysterious Crosses engraved in the stone and to the Panoramic Piazzola, with a splendid view of the Park.
It is also possible to take guided themed excursions, from naturalistic ones to discover the woods and biodiversity offered by the waters of the Park, to historical ones with a visit to the old mills, such as the ancient Mulin de Lorenzo with the large stone mill, to the archaeological ones, with Laboratories of Flint and Clay, and Prehistoric Nights to be spent inside a cave to discover the stages of evolution and fire production techniques.
