Ten photographs of my city (Amazing places in my city)

It's my pleasure to participate in this contest organized by @steem-for-future. This contest is for everyone to share the unique places of their area, be it city or villages. There are different ways we build our infrastructure. In fact, this infrastructure beautifies the area it is situated in and also contributes to the development of those areas.

The above image shows a petroleum station where they sell petrol at a rate of ₦990 (2 steem) to their daily customers. Recently, they painted the station white and orange to attract customers. They also have a mini supermarket inside the premises where motorists or people can buy biscuits, soap, detergent, soft drinks, and more.

This particular building is a warehouse where they sell only different brand names of cement and Plaster of Paris (POP) for those who are starting construction of their house. The cement is placed outside covered halfway with tarpaulin to be seen by everyone, especially for those who are willing to buy. This office is situated at a T-junction where customers can easily buy things they need.

I took this picture on Monday morning where I am headed to my place of work. You can see from the above picture people are busy driving with their cars to their places of work. The weather is cool in the morning and cold outside. This doesn't stop them from performing their various activities. A commercial tricycle painted in yellow is driving around because most of these people do not have any other means of transport. They do this to earn money in order to support their families.

Alma's place is a shopping center where they sell different varieties of items such as milk, Milo, biscuits, detergent, sardines, and more. It is a great place for shopping as you do not need to negotiate with the seller; price tags are on each goods you want to buy. In the upstairs, they sell African food and phone accessories at reasonable prices.

This particular building is used to store goods in large quantities for those who want to buy at wholesale prices and sell them to the final consumers. They have sales representative that will attend to you and the warehouse is situated in the Mandate Market area with an advertising billboard in front of the building that indicates the available goods.

The above image shows the newly constructed eye clinic center located in my area. The purpose of this building is to treat different kinds of eye problems affected by viruses or bacteria. Most people from rural areas will visit this hospital to receive treatment once it commences full operation. Although it is a private eye clinic that will use advanced medical technology to attend to the patients.

The image you are seeing is Abdulraheem Centre of Advanced Studies. This is their area office painted in green and off-white colors. Students who have good grades at the final stage will join their colleagues who are in the 200 level at any Nigerian University of their choice. Admission to the University is guaranteed for those who pass the exam unless they do not have money to pay their school fees.

Dried catfish was packaged in the northern state and distributed to different people who want to resell it to their customers. This truck just arrived, and I quickly took the shot. During this time, dried catfish is usually cheap because there is no more rain, making it very difficult for the fish to run helter-skelter. People were waiting to collect their orders, while those who offloaded the goods continued in the process.

The newly built shopping complex contributes to the development of this area. This particular place is an elite area where they want quality products. Once they finish all the work, people will start renting the shops to sell different kinds of items. The shop has enough space to accommodate a lot of goods.

Malbas Collection sells ladieswear only such as bags, veils, abayas, and more. Some of their products are placed in front of the shop so that people passing by can patronize them. When I tried to look inside the shop, I saw some of the materials arranged on the shelf, which means they have quality clothes in their store.
