L'altro giorno stavo messaggiando con un'amica di Las Tunas, Cuba.
Mi raccontava che sono tornati prepotenti los apagones, le interruzioni di corrente, ovviamente sempre nelle provincie, la capitale pare sia toccata ancora poco da questo problema.
Probabilmente perche nella capitale la gente ci mette un nulla a tirarsi por la calle.
Mi raccontava che sono 5 ore con corrente e 5 senza, poi si ricomincia.
Il tutto senza una programmazione seria, in modo da avvisare la popolazione su quali ore la corrente verra' tolta, in questo modo manca ogni possibilita' di programmare qualcosa.

Quando in primavera ero in citta' le cose funzionavano nella stesso modo.
Quindi quando tornava la corrente la gente si sbrigava a fare le faccende domestiche prima che tornasse l'oscurita' energetica.
Questo ha cambiato le abitudini dei cubani; non cucini e di conseguenza mangi nelle ore canoniche, ma lo fai quando c'e' corrente, fossero anche le 4 del pomeriggio.

Lo stesso discorso vale per i lavori domestici, se devi usare la lavatrice lo fai nelle poche ore in cui c'e la corrente, non quando tu decideresti di farlo.
Nelle ore di corrente tutto cio' che deve essere ricaricato e sotto carica che sia il cellulare, qualche altro aggeggio elettronico o la batteria della motorina elettrica.
C'e' la balita di gas ma e' cara e si cerca di risparmiarla, per questa ragione c'e' chi, sopratutto fuori dalle citta', ha ricominciato a cucinare col carbone per riuscire a farlo in ore canoniche.

Tenete conto che al campo, storicamente, los apagones, sono piu' lunghi rispetto alle zone meno rurali.
Probabilmente qando scendero' ad ottobre mi portaro' un ventilatorino ricaricabile che poi lascero' giu', credetemi se c'e' una cosa che peggiora la qualita' della nostra vacanza sono proprio los apagones.

Ma per noi, appunto, e' una vacanza, loro ci devono vivere col problema.
Non so come sia la situazione energetica dell'isola, se arrivano navi col petrolio, se qualche paese amico la sta' aiutando.
So soltanto che uno dei problemi che, da turista, dovro' afforntare sara' proprio quello de los apagones.
C'e' sempre l'opzione hotel con tanto di generatore che, in futuro, non andra' sottovalutata.

Probably because in the capital it takes no time at all to get out of the street.
She was telling me that it's 5 hours with electricity and 5 without, then it starts again.
All this without serious planning, so as to warn the population about what hours the electricity will be turned off, in this way there is no possibility of planning something.

When I was in the city in the spring, things worked the same way.
So when the electricity came back, people would hurry up and do their housework before the energy darkness returned.
This has changed the habits of Cubans; you don't cook and consequently eat during the canonical hours, but you do it when there is electricity, even if it was 4 in the afternoon.

The same goes for housework, if you have to use the washing machine you do it in the few hours when there is electricity, not when you would decide to do it.
During the hours of electricity everything that needs to be recharged is on charge, be it the cell phone, some other electronic gadget or the battery of the electric scooter.
There is the gas balita but it is expensive and we try to save it, for this reason there are those, especially outside the cities, who have started cooking with coal again to be able to do it in canonical hours.

Keep in mind that in the camp, historically, los apagones, are longer than in the less rural areas.
Probably when I go down in October I will bring a rechargeable fan that I will then leave downstairs, believe me if there is one thing that worsens the quality of our vacation it is precisely los apagones.

But for us, precisely, it is a vacation, they have to live with the problem.
I don't know what the energy situation is on the island, if ships with oil are arriving, if some friendly country is helping it.
I only know that one of the problems that, as a tourist, I will have to face will be precisely that of los apagones.
There is always the option of a hotel with a generator that, in the future, should not be underestimated.
