La maggior parte della gente che conosco, gente che non ha nulla a che fare con Cuba, e' convinta che l'embargo non esista piu' perche lo avrebbe tolto Obama prima di fare il suo viaggio nella maggiore delle Antille.
Ignoranza comprensibile anche se grave, le persone non sono tenute a sapere ogni cosa di ogni paese al mondo anche se oggi con la rete informarsi e' infinitamente piu' facile.

Poi ci sono quelli del “a Cuba c'e' tutto questa storia dell'embargo non esiste”.
In questo caso non e' soltanto ignoranza ma anche malafede.
Piu' volte a Las Tunas ho sentito lo "scienziato" di turno affermare che non poteva esistere l'embargo se c'era la Coca Cola ed una tienda Adidas, peccato che la Coca Cola (all'epoca, oggi non so) arrivava dal Messico e la tienda era statale, ci avevano messo l'insegna Adidas, riuscivano a reperire la merce Dio solo sa come (collezioni di parecchi anni prima) ma la casa madre europea c'entava poco o nulla, lo so, frequentavo la figlia dell'amministratore, ora defunto.

Dire che il bloqueo non esiste e' una affermazione ignorante e stupida, fatta al solo scopo di screditare un governo che, detto per inciso, in questa opera spesso ci riesce da solo.
I discorsi da bar dovrebbero restare al bar, se si parla con cognizione di causa occorrerebbe essere un minimo informati.

Prima della pandemia, con un' altra persona, gestivamo un sito dove
si potevano affittare case de renta in tutta l'isola ed anche organizzare piccoli tour.
Se il cliente era Svizzero, ad esempio, e nella causale del bonifico per le nostre commissioni appariva la parola Cuba, semplicemente il bonifico non partiva, finiva “sotto embargo”.
Ho un amico italiano con una casa de renta a Cuba, residente, l'ultima volta che e' stato in Italia ha tentato di aprire un conto corrente in una nostra banca ricevendo una decina di porte in faccia, solo una banca (dove tutta la sua famiglia aveva conti correnti importanti) ha accettato di farglielo aprire con dei costi di gestione che facevano rimpiangere Toto' Riina.
Piccole cose ma moltiplicate per l'infinto...

Fino a qualche anno fa le navi da crociera attraccavano al porto dell'Avana, Calle Obispo si animava di mille persone e chi aveva il classico chioschetto con i soliti ricordini da vendere faceva affari
d'oro.
Nelle ultime mie 3 vacanze non ho visto una nave da crociera attraccata al porto, le compagnie che lo facevano sono state
pesantemente multate ed hanno dovuto rinunciare.
Recentemente e' successo un casino, che non ho piu' seguito quindi non so come sia andata a finire, riguardante la petroliera messicana che ha portato un carico di greggio a Cuba, regalo del
governo messicano.

Trump, per danneggiare il sistema bancario cubano ha favorito l'invio di rimesse tramite altre strade favorendo agenzie private.
Si era trovato un accordo fra la lega baseball cubana e quella della Grande Liga statunitense per il passaggio di giocatori dall'isola al campionato Usa, appena siglato l'accordo Trump stesso lo ha fatto saltare senza pensarci piu' volte.
Il dipartimento di stato Usa ha ficcato il naso pure sui medici cubani che sono arrivati in Calabria permettendo alle strutture ospedaliere nella regione di rimanere aperte.
Ha parlato di schiavitu' ed altre cazzate simili.

Questi sono i primi esempi, fatti concreti che mi vengono in mente, se facessi
una ricerca seria ne troverei altri centinaia, in pochi minuti...
Ora con i negozi privati non escludo che qualcuno possa importare direttamente della mercanzia ma e' il privato che la importa a suo rischio e pericolo
(se vuole poi fare affari in Usa) non e' lo stato cubano.
Che poi ci siano situazioni particolari in cui Cuba riesca ad importare od esportare qualcosa con gli Stati Uniti o l'Europa e' unaltro discorso, probabilmente esistono postille, magari motivazioni umanitarie che consentono di aggirare il bloqueo che comunque esiste e da 65 anni danneggia il popolo cubano.

La mayoría de las personas que conozco, personas que no tienen nada.
Respecto a Cuba, está convencida de que el embargo ya no existe porque Obama lo habría levantado antes de emprender su viaje a la mayor de las Antillas.
Una ignorancia comprensible, aunque grave, no es necesario que la gente sepa todo sobre todos los países del mundo, aunque hoy con Internet es infinitamente más fácil obtener información.

Luego están los que dicen "en Cuba existe todo esto del embargo, no existe".
En este caso no se trata sólo de desconocimiento sino también de mala fe.
Varias veces escuché en Las Tunas al "científico" de turno decir que el embargo no podría existir si hubiera Coca Cola y una tienda Adidas, lástima que la Coca Cola (en ese momento, hoy no lo sé) saliera de México y la tienda era estatal, habían puesto el cartel de Adidas ahí, lograron encontrar la mercancía Dios sabe cómo (colecciones de varios años antes) pero la casa matriz europea poco o nada tuvo que ver, lo sé, Estaba saliendo con la hija del administrador, ya fallecida.

Decir que el bloqueo no existe es una afirmación ignorante y estúpida, hecha con el único fin de desacreditar a un gobierno que, por cierto, muchas veces logra este trabajo por sí solo.
La charla de bar debe quedarse en la barra, si hablas con pleno conocimiento de causa al menos debes estar informado.

Tengo un amigo italiano con una casa de alquiler en Cuba, residente, la última vez que estuvo en Italia intentó abrir una cuenta corriente en uno de nuestros bancos y recibió una docena de puertas en la cara, solo un banco (donde todos sus familia tenía cuentas corrientes importantes) aceptó dejarles abrirla con unos gastos de gestión que hicieron que Toto' Riina se arrepintiera.

Hasta hace unos años, los cruceros atracaban en el puerto de La Habana, la calle Obispo estaba animada con mil personas y hacían negocios los que tenían el clásico quiosco con los habituales souvenirs para vender.

En mis últimas 3 vacaciones no he visto ningún crucero atracado en el puerto, había empresas que sí lo hacían.
una fuerte multa y tuvo que darse por vencido.
Hace poco pasó algo que ya no seguí así que no sé cómo terminó, respecto del petrolero mexicano que trajo un cargamento de crudo a Cuba, regalo de
Gobierno mexicano.

Para dañar el sistema bancario cubano, Trump favoreció el envío de remesas por otras rutas favoreciendo a las agencias privadas.
Se había llegado a un acuerdo entre la liga cubana de béisbol y la de la Gran Liga estadounidense para el traspaso de jugadores de la Isla al campeonato de EE.UU. Nada más firmarse el acuerdo, el propio Trump lo hizo estallar sin pensarlo más.
El Departamento de Estado de Estados Unidos también espió a los médicos cubanos que llegaron a Calabria, permitiendo que las instalaciones hospitalarias de la región permanecieran abiertas.
Habló de esclavitud y otras mierdas así.

Estos son los primeros ejemplos, hechos concretos que me vienen a la mente, si no
una búsqueda seria encontraría cientos más, en unos minutos...
Ahora con los comercios privados no descarto que alguien pueda importar la mercancía directamente pero es el particular quien la importa por su cuenta y riesgo.
(si luego quiere hacer negocios en Estados Unidos) no es el Estado cubano.
Otra cosa es que haya situaciones particulares en las que Cuba pueda importar o exportar algo con Estados Unidos o Europa, probablemente haya apostillas, quizás razones humanitarias que le permitan burlar el bloqueo que de todas formas existe y viene dañando la país desde hace 65 años.Pueblo cubano.
