Il paradosso del nonno 🇮🇹🇬🇧

Mi interesso da sempre di fisica quantistica, per quel poco (che e' davvero poco) che riesco a capire.
Un giovane ricercatore italiano Lorenzo Gavassino che lavora nell'americana Vanderbilt University studia la possibilita' di "viaggi nel tempo".
Sta' cercando un modo per superare il maggiore ostacolo, o meglio uno dei maggiori ostacoli perche' il piu' grande e' trovare un "loop" temporale.
Come dicevo questo ostacolo e' il "Paradosso del Nonno"
Cos'e'?

E' una contraddizione logica, nasce da una modifica degli eventi del passato rispetto a come sono accaduti in origine.
Se una cosa e' accaduta in un modo, non puo' accadere in modo differente, cambiare il passato e' una contraddizione, quindi impossibile.
Ricordate la trilogia di Ritorno al futuro?
Quindi teoricamente si potrebbe tornare nel passato (se si trova un loop temporale e ad oggi non ne esistono) e uccidere il proprio nonno, ma nella pratica sarebbe assurdo perche' nello stesso tempo....

Ho ucciso mio nonno.

Mio padre quindi non e' nato, di conseguenza io non esisto.

Se non esisto come e' possibile che sia riuscito ad uccidere il nonno?

In realta' la teoria del multiverso spiega (spiega...insomma...) che in realta' il viaggio nel tempo sarebbe possibile fra universi finendo in uno parallelo rispetto a quello in cui viviamo.
Ricordate o avete mai visto la serie Fringe in tv?
Quindi si tratterebbe di un passato ed un presente parallelo rispetto a quello in cui viviamo.

THE GRANDFATHER PARADOX

I have always been interested in quantum physics, for the little (which is really little) that I can understand.
A young Italian researcher Lorenzo Gavassino who works at the American Vanderbilt University studies the possibility of "time travel".
He is looking for a way to overcome the greatest obstacle, or rather one of the greatest obstacles because the greatest is finding a temporal "loop".
As I was saying, this obstacle is the "Grandfather Paradox"
What is it?

It is a logical contradiction, it arises from a modification of past events compared to how they originally happened.
If something happened in one way, it cannot happen in a different way, changing the past is a contradiction, therefore impossible.
Do you remember the Back to the Future trilogy?
So theoretically you could go back in time (if you find a time loop and there aren't any today) and kill your grandfather, but in practice it would be absurd because at the same time....

I killed my grandfather.

So my father wasn't born, so I don't exist.

If I don't exist, how is it possible that I managed to kill my grandfather?

In reality, the multiverse theory explains (explains...well...) that in reality time travel would be possible between universes ending up in a parallel one to the one we live in.
Do you remember or have you ever seen the Fringe series on TV?
So it would be a past and a present parallel to the one we live in.
